EquiGo

PROJECT BRIEF

The assignment was to create a social network service (SNS) innovative to the market. This SNS needed to be a realistic contender to already established social media and networking platforms. Market opportunities needed to be identified and studied in order to be competitive. The design team was asked to find three global trends that were potentially profitable and of personal interest. From the three researched subject areas, one was to be decided upon and further examined, eventually leading to the creation of a business model and prototype.

Medical Facility Accessibility

PROJECT BRIEF

The project must lead to innovation through creative engagement, such as design thinking, applied at a strategic level within the field of Design Management. It should address a unique design problem that can be effectively explored and resolved through practices central to the field, clearly setting it apart from projects typical of other disciplines.

Data should be vigorously, gathered, synthesized, and documented to develop meaningful insights into the problem. Space. These insights will form the foundation for co-creating, designing, facilitating, testing, and evaluating collaborative processes or systems that drive innovation. The outcome should reflect a deep understanding of Design Management and contribute to the advancement of collaborative development strategies.

The final deliverable must include a persuasive and engaging pitch that clearly articulates the proposed solution. This presentation should be thorough yet concise, demonstrating the projects, relevance, innovative, potential, and real world impact with in the context of Design Management.

Waves of Chaos: A Data Story

PROJECT BRIEF

Three topics that are of shared interest to the assigned team should be selected and discussed. After initial research is conducted, the single topic that has data with the most potential to offer a compelling story will be the focus. The topic should be researched in-depth and information should be collected for a thorough, intentionally crafted narrative. The deliverables must be composed with visualizations that coincide appropriately (reference Nancy Duarte’s Data Story) with the information being presented.
